Multi-mode fiber optics

Multi-mode fibers can support multiple spatial degrees of freedom. As a result it is possible to tranmit images through them. The modal dispersion introduces severe spatial and temporal distortions of the transmitted information. In this project we use phase conjugation and other wavefront shaping techniques to build imaging devices for advanced endoscopic designs.
